Former PM Nawaz Sharif Approves Gujranwala Mass Transit Project

Former Prime Minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has officially approved the Gujranwala mass transit project, calling it an important step for the city’s progress. He said the project will give major convenience to the people and will support better travel facilities for daily commuters.
In Lahore, a special meeting was held under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif. During the meeting, important decisions were made regarding development work in Gujranwala.
Nawaz Sharif stated that the people of Gujranwala truly deserve this project and should have received it much earlier. He added that he is very happy to see progress in the city and improvement in public transport facilities.

Officials in the meeting briefed the leadership that the new transport route will cover more than 30 kilometers, starting from Eminabad and ending at Ghakhar. This long route is designed to benefit a large number of passengers every day.
According to the briefing, more than 51,000 passengers will use the service daily, and a fleet of 40 buses will operate on the route, making the Gujranwala mass transit project a major step forward for public transport in the region.
